December Birchbox

So today I thought I'd share my December Birchbox with you, if you're unfamiliar with the concept you can read my blog post on the November box here
I love the packaging once again, this month is pink, red and silver for December. So what does my Birchbox contain?

If you read my previous post you'll know that each box is tailored to suit the subscriber, therefore all the samples it contains should all be ones the subscriber can use, for example you won't receive shampoo specifically for blonde hair if you're brunette and vice versa!

My box contains:
Benefit Porefessional Matte Rescue primer
Percy & Reed Wonder Balm
Huygens Face Scrub
Laura Mercier eye crayon
Full size Ciate Fierce Flicks eyeliner

I haven't yet tried the face scrub or the wonder balm yet though I have heard good things about them. My favourite samples are the Benefit Porefessional matte rescue primer and the Ciate black eyeliner pen. The primer really does help to control oil throughout the day underneath foundation and creates a nice base for foundation to be applied, the eyeliner is like a felt tip pen so application is easy and it's also long lasting. I also like the Laura Mercier eye crayon which is a golden taupe colour however I don't think the colour suits me, but I can use it as a primer or base for eyeshadows.

Overall I'm fairly pleased with this month's Birchbox, I'm slightly disappointed in the fact that some boxes contained a sample of a Bobbi Brown mascara which I would have liked to try but that's just the luck of the draw unfortunately you can't pick and choose what your box will contain but that's also part of the fun!
