I absolutely love a good mask, whether it's foot, hand or face and so today I decided to a review a couple of them since it is the season to hibernate with a mask, hot chocolate and a good film!
Today I used the Beauty Formulas Hand Mask and the 7th Heaven Dead Sea Mud Pac. I've never used either of these brands before but as they were super cheap and people recommended them I decided to give them a whirl.
I began with the hand mask which I got from Pound World for £1, I suffer with very dry skin on my hands all year round but especially in winter and hand creams don't seem to help, so I wondered if a hand mask would work any better. With this you simply leave it on for 20-30 minutes which for me was difficult as I'm always on my phone and then afterwards you'll be left with silky soft hands. I have to say that despite the cheap price tag, I was pleasantly surprised with this, it smelt good and it left my hands soft and smooth and they didn't feel greasy at all. I would definitely repurchase and recommend anyone to try this.
I then moved onto the 7th Heaven Dead Sea Mud Pac, this is for oily and combination skin, though they have a mask for almost every skin type. I think I should have opted for a moisturising one for the winter but that's my bad. There was a lot of product for the price, I picked this up for £1 in Asda, in fact there was so much product in the pack that I thought it was for two applications. I ended up using the entire pack and then left it for 15 minutes.

It felt fresh and cool on my skin with a slight tingle, the only minor criticism I would have is that I found it difficult to wash off as it dried to a clay-like texture so I had to scrub it off. Afterwards my skin looked fresh, peachy and clean. It also felt very smooth and matte so I think this would be great for oily skin. It removed all traces of grease and oil from my skin so I think that this would also be good for teenage skin. I think my skin isn't as oily as I originally thought and in winter I tend to need a moisture boost so next time I'll try a different one. Overall, it just goes to show that once again you don't have to break the bank for amazing beauty products, I enjoyed using these and I would repurchase them both again.
